No.1 in popularity: Enjoy a fun BBQ in the garden!

We will provide a BBQ venue in the Japanese-style garden of Senbon Terrace. Enjoy a fun time with your family and friends in the open air with a BBQ. The villa will provide a stove (for a fee; please refrain from bringing your own stove), so all you need to bring is the ingredients (meat, vegetables, sauces, drinks, etc.). → ※Local supermarket information
Please feel free to use the knives for cutting vegetables in the kitchen.

On rainy days, we will set up a tarp over the garden, so you can enjoy a BBQ even in light rain. (Please note that BBQs will not be possible in the event of heavy rain or typhoons. In such cases, there will be no cancellation fee for the BBQ grill rental.)

Please note that Kumakogen gets quite cold even during the day in winter, so we do not recommend outdoor barbecues.

朝食

for breakfast

We recommend purchasing bread the day before from a bakery in Kumakogen Town (such as Sansan Bakery inside the Sansan Roadside Station or a shop that sells locally sourced bread), and lightly toasting it in the villa’s toaster oven before enjoying. We also recommend making an omelet with eggs purchased at the roadside station or a nearby supermarket, or a salad using fresh local vegetables.

Our villa has a free drink corner. We offer coffee (authentic coffee brewed with hand-ground beans), locally grown black tea, organic Japanese tea, decaffeinated corn tea, rooibos tea, decaffeinated coffee, and more, so please feel free to enjoy a drink with your breakfast.

We also have a rice cooker, so we recommend cooking rice and enjoying a Japanese breakfast. The roadside station sells 2-go packs (*) of delicious rice from the local Kumakogen region. You can cook and enjoy it during your trip, so please feel free to use it. *1 go is the amount of rice equivalent to 2 bowls.
