Environmentally friendly villa

At Senbon Terrace, we aim to provide a comfortable space for our guests, so we have designed our structures and facilities around keywords such as “natural,” “natural,” and “healthy.”
The owner has incorporated “natural things that she finds comfortable” and “things that she likes” throughout the villa.

Charcoal is spread under the floor, and diatomaceous earth is applied to the walls, ceiling, and inside the closet.

Humidity-regulating charcoal “Sumihachi” (*1) is laid under the floor. In addition, the staff themselves have painted the interior walls with “Kirara®“, a natural paint (made primarily from fossilized coral from Yonaguni Island and Danto stone (quartz schist) from Aichi Prefecture, with natural pigments for coloring *2), which was developed to solve the problem of sick building syndrome. This natural paint (diatomaceous earth) has been used in renovation work at 40 elementary and junior high schools across the country, and is considered safe for children to ingest.

Almost the entire interior of the house, including the ceiling, is painted, so when you enter the room, the air feels fresh and clear, and you feel like there is a clear, transparent “energy” there. The walls inside the closets and cupboards are also painted, which helps prevent moisture from building up in futons and blankets.

Because it was hand painted, there are some irregularities here and there, but the unique patterns are there. We hope you will enjoy the texture of the walls and relax in the room.

Artificial fragrances are strictly avoided

We hear that in recent years, many people have been troubled by the “allergy of fragrances.” At Senbon Terrace, we try to avoid artificial fragrances as much as possible. We use unscented linens and towels for washing, and our toilet paper is also unscented.

We have placed aroma stones filled with natural aromas in the entrance, living room, and bathroom. We have taken care to ensure that you can enjoy the scents of nature.

I use products that block electromagnetic waves.

Smartphones and computers are indispensable in modern life. We believe that we are inevitably affected by electromagnetic waves on a daily basis, but at Senbon Terrace we use electromagnetic wave blocking (reducing) products on breakers and outlets to reduce electromagnetic waves as much as possible within the building.

The kitchen water supply is equipped with a water purifier that uses terahertz minerals.

We have a water purifier (νG7 Terahertz 1100 Water) installed in our kitchen tap. It uses terahertz ceramic ore, a hexagonal field converter, and granular activated carbon for filtration. When water passes through the hexagonal field converter, the clusters become smaller and the water efficiently absorbs electrons, activating its natural power.

The lighting uses incandescent bulbs

Many people feel that LED light is harsh to the eyes, due to its strong blue component, small light-emitting surface, and tendency to focus light forward. There are some tips for choosing LED lighting that won’t pierce the eyes, such as using a diffusion cover, but the owner himself likes the warmth of incandescent bulbs, so he uses incandescent bulbs for lighting in the building whenever possible (though there are some areas where LED is absolutely necessary).
Therefore, the lighting inside the building is a little dim, but you can still relax and unwind at night.
